Guiding Mosaic 2010
Guelph Lake Conservation Area July 8 - 17th 2010
When you register for GM2010 here are the opportunities available to you:
As a ** Girl participant born 1995-1998, you will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities of your choice ranging from adventure activities, sports, technology, science and out-trips you will camp with girls in Patrols of 8-10 (+2 leaders) and share your experiences with girls from across Canada and around the world. Once your 1st installment is received you have access to the Activity Catalogue.
As a * Ranger or Trex participant (15-18 years of age in 2010) you will be able to participate in a fantastic and exciting program of your choice designed especially for you, while having the opportunity for personal growth and enhancement of your leadership skills.
As a ** Patrol Leader/Assistant Patrol Leader (age of majority, with a valid police records check) Welcome Letter for Patrol Leaders you will be able to work with your team and a Patrol (8-10 girls) to ensure that the GM2010 experience is the best it can be for everyone. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy innovative programs designed just for you. This is a fantastic way to experience Guiding and all the amazing opportunities it has to offer. Once your 1st installment has been received you will have access to the catalogue.
As * Core Crew (age of majority, with valid police records check) this is an exciting opportunity for you to volunteer your time and be an active participant in GM2010. Great way to challenge yourself, while contributing in all aspects of camp with an incredible team to ensure that GM2010 is a special and unique experience for everyone.
As a Girl or Adult participant you may register as an individual or as a Patrol. If you are registering as a Patrol Guider/Assistant Patrol Guider, you will be assigned a Registration # and be given the opportunity to list the girls you are going to have in your Patrol, you can change or update this information. Give that Registration # to your girls and they will automatically be attached to the Patrol once they register. If you register as an individual and later connect to a Patrol the same process will work in reverse. Non-members are welcome to apply as Core Crew, you will be required to successfully complete a Police Record Check, a telephone interview, submit 2 references. Completion of screening requirements for membership is required before acceptance and placement. Additional costs for non-members are incl'd in the fee schedule.
Please Note: Once your forms and payment are received, you will recieve a 2nd e-mail from the main site with a user name and password that will give you access to the private participant area on the website, so watch for this e-mail. Look forward to seeing you at GM2010!
